La Promesa, meaning "The Promise," represents the commitment made by company patriarch Jose “Pepin” Garcia to his family before leaving his native Cuba. He vowed to prove himself in the cigar world, to make something of himself outside of Cuba, and to honor his family's tobacco legacy. According to My Father Cigars, the company as it stands today—with its farms in Nicaragua and factories in both Nicaragua and Miami—is the fulfillment of that promise.
My Father La Promesa is wrapped in a dark, Ecuadorian Habano Rosado Oscuro wrapper, with binder and filler tobaccos sourced from the Garcia family’s own farms in Nicaragua. This cigar is a testament to the family’s enduring dedication to quality and tradition.
