The Viaje Mrs. Hatchet is a 6 x 50 box-pressed toro that first debuted in 2021. At the time, Viaje declined to share details about the blend, and the cigar has not been released again since that initial shipment three years ago.
Unlike most cigar makers with established core lines, Viaje operates almost exclusively through limited production runs, typically sending a small batch of cigars to retailers once a month. While some blends make a return in later years, few see annual releases spanning more than a five-year stretch. True to form, the company remains notoriously secretive, often withholding information about blends and production origins, though it has historically partnered with both Aganorsa in Nicaragua and Raíces Cubanas in Honduras.
