Viaje’s original Honey & Hand Grenades release was a Nicaraguan blend wrapped in Criollo, instantly recognizable by its bold red foil that extended from the foot to the band, displaying the line’s signature bee-grenade logo. In 2023, the series expanded with the Falchion, a special edition offered under Viaje’s Collector’s Edition banner.
The 6" x 54 vitola takes its name from the falchion, a sword distinguished by its slight curve and concave tip. As with previous Honey & Hand Grenades releases, the Falchion is available in two versions: one finished in Corojo and the other in Mexican San Andrés Maduro, mirroring the blends introduced in 2021’s Corojo and Maduro editions.
