The Sin Compromiso brand was created with a purpose: to deliver a premium cigar “with no compromise.” The Sin Compromiso Paladin de Saka embodies that mission as its champion. It took Steve Saka, founder of Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, 24 months to develop the blend for the Paladin, and that time was well invested. This cigar features an oily, rich dark chocolate Mexican San Andres wrapper expertly placed over an Ecuadorian Habano binder, with a filler made from Nicaraguan and USA Pennsylvania leaves. The wrapper is cultivated using a traditional Japanese technique known as “cultivo tonto,” which involves removing the bottom leaves of the tobacco plant to ensure the upper leaves receive maximum nutrients, resulting in a remarkably flavorful wrapper. After rolling, the cigars are aged for one year to allow the flavors to mature, and they are then sleeved in cedar to preserve their freshness.
