Originally a Cuban brand founded in the mid-19th century by two cousins near Havana, Lord Byron cigars quickly gained popularity and thrived for generations. However, financial difficulties led to the brand's sale by Ricardo Alfonzo, one of the original cousins’ grandsons. Nearly ninety years later, Ricardo's great-grandson, Nelson Alfonso, revived the brand through his Selected Tobacco Company. The Byron 20th Century cigars are crafted in limited quantities, aged for a full year, and feature a dark Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The blend includes a disclosed binder and a filler combination of Peruvian, Dominican, and a secret component, ensuring a rich and complex smoking experience.
